Hello Folks!

Below is a bit of information on the Sonic Rock Chillout Festival taking place this coming weekend in North Wales, UK.

With Hawkwind apparently taking a well deserved break from the hassles of organizing a space festival this year, this may be your only chance to get together this summer for some weekend camping with other like-minded folks.

The line up is great, so come out to relax, have some fun - and thoughly enjoy yourself!

THE SONIC ROCK CHILLOUT

HARVEY BAINBRIDGE - NIK TURNER'S PARTY BAND - JUDGE TREV - MR QUIMBY'S BEARD - TRACTOR - ASSASINS OF SILENCE - BIG AMONGST SHEEP - DR HASSBEEN

We are holding a weekend ticket, invitation only event for like-minded people on the 9th and 10th of July at the Swallow Falls Hotel and Campsite in North Wales. There is a bar and restaurant with toilets and showers on site plus Live Music, Stalls, a Tattooist and ambient lighting plus some very special guests. This is a private party with a 300 capacity.

Tickets are £18.00 per person and will sell out very quickly. Book early to avoid disappointment. Any stallholders are welcome to apply.

We would also like to thank WNCX our Cleveland Affiliate, Coors, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. The Solar Fire Lightshow for the spectacular light show they provided, Chelsea's Vintage Clothes and Costumes. * Mr. Quimby's Beard Live @ Strange Daze 2001 has now been released. It's a 70 minute CD-R and features two new live tracks by Harvey Bainbridge - plus the bulk of the Strange Daze 2001 concert by Mr. Quimby's Beard - including a new track from them called "Chariots" performed live.

FREE SATURDAY EVENING MINI-FEST

There will be a FREE mini-fest starting at 7pm on Saturday, April 10th, at the lovely Orion Sound Studios (2903 Whittington Ave) in Baltimore, MD.

ALIEN PLANETSCAPES will be performing along with ARCHITECTURAL METAPHOR, SCATTERED PLANETS, and CHURCH OF HED. Various out-of-this-world visuals will be provided by THE SOLAR FIRE LIGHTSHOW and FREE MUNCHIES will be courtesy of CHEF GEOFF.

This show is not just a celebration of the late Fran Walker's life, but is also a benefit for her family to help them through this difficult time.

While donations are certainly encouraged (and will be gratefully) accepted, there's also the need to spiritually help support Doug (and through him our own selves) by gathering together and enjoying the very music that Fran helped make possible through her many years of hard work and dedication in keeping Doug's "Alien Planetscapes" alive.

So please bring your friends (and your favorite beverages) and we'll help elevate your soul & mind... while filling your belly with food and your ears with beautiful music.
